Brainiac Coffee
The Challenge For this passion project, I wanted to explore the intersection of "brain power" and "coffee culture." The goal was to build a conceptual brand for a coffee line that appeals to the thinkers, the late-night studiers, and the creative problem solvers. I set out to create a visual identity that felt smart and scientific, but never cold or uninviting.
The Solution I developed Brainiac Coffee, a brand rooted in the "eureka" moment. The visual system centers on a custom atomic icon—merging a coffee bean with a molecular structure. To balance the "brainy" theme, I chose a palette of deep greens and warm, toasted oranges to keep the brand feeling grounded and approachable.
The Deliverables This project allowed me to showcase how a brand can flex across vastly different touchpoints:
Packaging Design: I designed custom dielines and patterns for the "Churro Delight" and "Pistachio Dream" lines, using repetitive illustrations to create shelf-impact.
Brand Identity: I built a full stationery suite, from textured business cards to professional letterheads, proving the logo's versatility.
Lifestyle & Apparel: By prototyping the brand on merchandise and in-hand coffee cups, I demonstrated how the identity lives and breathes in a customer's daily routine.
